Are you walking through a season of anxious or depressed feelings, intimate partner violence, relationship disharmony, grief, or trauma? These difficulties can impact your life and cause circumstances which may at times feel hopeless. Christie will walk with you through your most difficult and challenging seasons of life – and work collaboratively with you as we cultivate hope for a bright future. She provides a safe and confidential space for individuals to tell their story and works collaboratively with them to evoke motivation for change, develop and work toward goals, and experience emotional healing.
Christie has a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Regina and is a registered social worker in Saskatchewan. She is currently working toward her Master of Counselling degree at Briercrest Seminary. She has a decade of frontline social work experience including crisis response and counselling.
Her counselling approach is trauma informed and incorporates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, EMDR, Person-Centred and Strengths-Based therapy.
